ChampionChip Electronic Timing
Timing system provided by a generous matching grant from BP

The 5 Mile event will be timed using the ChampionChip Timing system.  Use of the chip will help get faster and more accurate race results to you.  Please follow the instructions attached to the envelope containing the Chip that was given to you with your bib.  Be sure to lace the Chip to your shoe.  It will not work unless it is on your shoe.  Make sure the number on the top of the envelope matches your Bib number.  At the finish there will be volunteers to help you remove the Chip.  Chips MUST be returned.  You will be charged $25 if you do not return your Chip.

Team Captains
:  Please make sure everyone on your team knows how to attach the chip to their shoe.  If anyone is not going to be doing the Run, please return the chip either at registration, or on race day to a race official, or mail it back (wrapped in bubble wrap) to AK Run for Women, PO Box 230929, Anchorage
, AK  99523.
