Volunteer for the Run
Since 1993, the Alaska Run for Women event has been orchestrated by a dedicated group of volunteers. Their efforts reflect not only a unique Alaska style – where else would people decorate a Port-a-Potty – but also a strong sense of empowerment and harmony among all participants.
It is a rare feeling that is truly tangible at the event.
There is something for everyone, both pre-race and race day: bib pick-up, course set-up and tear down, and more – hundreds of volunteers are needed!
