Days to Race356
Murray Orthodontics is donating one case of Invisalign Therapy, valued at more than $8,500, to one courageous breast cancer survivor. If you are registered for the race, and will be wearing one of the pink survivor bibs, be sure to fill out an entry form at any of the Bib Pick-Up Days. You will be asked to share a few sentences about why you want to receive Invisalign Treatment. If you write a few sentences then your entry will go into a drawing and The Murray Orthodontics Team will then pick one from the pile of entries. This special Invisalign donation is for Survivors only!
2019 Winner: Janel Wright
(*If Dr. Murray feels the winner is not a good candidate for Invisalign, traditional braces will be offered instead. Healthy smiles come first!).
Online or pre-registration at bib pick-up is strongly recommended if at all possible. Lines can be very long race morning, start the day off relaxed; pre-registration allows participants to enjoy the events that take place before the run/walk. Do the yoga warm-up, grab a cup of Kaladi coffee or catch up with friends. The camaraderie of the Alaska Run for Women is truly unique! Connect with the cause!
Be creative and design a back tag to wear proudly at the race to recognize someone who has survived breast cancer or in memory of someone who lost the battle. The back tags are available at bib pick-up and on race day.
Providence Imaging Center’s Mobile Mammography Unit will be at the University Center on Saturday, June 1 during registration. Get your annual mammogram and pick up your race bib at the same time! You must call prior to June 1 to schedule your appointment. More information available here!
Merchandise will be on sale at ALL bib pick-ups. We recommend that you shop early. Do not wait until race day!
